My May 2025 Reads:
- The Lawyer and the Laundress by Christine Hill Suntz - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - A beautiful story. Review to come.
- Sweet Right Here by Jenny B. Jones - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Loved this romantic comedy! Laugh-out-loud humor and lots of romantic sizzle. I've already ordered book two.
- Religious Rebels: Finding Jesus in the Awkward Middle Way by Christy Lynne Wood - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - A book of comfort, inspiration, and hope for those of us struggling with negative aspects of church culture while leaning into a relationship with God.
- Every Hour Until Then by Gabrielle Meyer - ⭐⭐⭐⭐½ - Book 5 in the Timeless series and once again Meyer has delivered a remarkable tale of time crossing, suspense, and romance. Read my review.
- The Wind Blows in Sleeping Grass by Katie Powner - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - One of the most original books I've read recently in Christian Fiction. An excellent choice for a book club.
- Searching for Peace by Jessica Ashley - ⭐⭐⭐ - Based on the book blurb, I expected to love this book. Instead, I found it hard to connect with the characters and didn't feel invested in the story.
- To Kiss a Knight by Grace Hitchcock - ⭐⭐⭐ - Had some fun banter, but an unsteady plot pace and a bit of a disappointing ending.
Other May 2025 Reviews:
- Show Me Your Glory Movie - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - “If there is a loving God, why is there so much suffering and evil in the world?" A movie that uses real-life stories to offer hope and inspiration. Read my review.
