Book Blogger Hop

Book Blogger HopEach week the Book Blogger Hop asks a question for book bloggers to write about, then asks its participants to visit linked blogs. This week's question is:

Do you read only one book at a time or do you have several going at once?

My answer: I usually have one fiction and one non-fiction/devotional going.  I don't like to have more than one fiction book in process at one time.  However, by reading some sort of non-fiction book, I can have another book going while I read my fiction.  Currently, I am reading From the Library of A.W. Tozer: Selections from Writers Who Influenced His Spiritual Journey.

What about you?

  1. Not everyone can multi-task and nobody should. When it comes to book sure, I can't read four books simultaneously (or even two, for that matter!) but there are times I'll juggle as many as four books at a time depending on the subject matter, the urgency or more often both.

The real trick to this is what KINDS of books to juggle. Hop on over to my blog and learn the method behind my madness - http://www.howardshermannet

  2. I agree. The kinds of books you are reading make a difference in what you can juggle.

  3. Hopping through. I usually read multiple books at a time. I think it's smart to just do one fiction and one non-fiction though.

....I don't know how folks do it....I am amazed at how many people read more than one book at at time. :)
