Today I'm sharing the first two lines from The Warrior Maiden by Melanie Dickerson:
"Galloping her horse past the big oak tree, Mulan pulled the bowstring taut. She aimed at the knothole with one eye closed and sent the arrow flying toward the target."
Pretty much from the moment I opened the mail package, I've wanted to dive into this novel. Such a lovely cover! Look for my review in a week or two. :)
