July 2023 Reading Recap & August 2023 TBR

My July 2023 Reads: 

1. An Hour Unspent by Roseanna M. White - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - I loved everything about this novel!


2. A Song Unheard by Roseanna M. White - ⭐⭐⭐⭐½ - A well-crafted story, just not quite as good as book one (A Name Unknown).


3. Dedicated to the One I Love by Beth K. Vogt - ⭐⭐⭐½ - I enjoyed the story, but I wish it had been a full length novel instead of a novella. The ending felt a bit abrupt.


4. The Secret Keepers of Old Depot Grocery by Amanda Cox - ⭐⭐⭐ - Well-crafted with complex characters and a strong theme about the damage secrets can cause. Mother-daughter drama/dysfunction just isn't my cup of tea.
