The Colonel's Lady is the first book I've read by Laura Frantz and I will definitely be reading more. I usually don't gush about a book, but I absolutely loved this one and I know I will reread it multiple times in the future. The poignant story hooked me from the beginning and the vivid characters stayed in my mind for days. The author's writing style was amazing. It was so beautiful to read that I wanted to take my time, but yet I was compelled to read quickly because I wanted to know what was going to happen. A delicious quandry, indeed.
The Colonel's Lady is probably the best book I've read this year and I absolutely recommend it to fans of Christian romance.
