Join the adventure as the Daughters of the Mayflower series continues with The Chisholm Trail Bride by Kathleen Y’Barbo.

My Thoughts:

The Chisholm Trail Bride by Kathleen Y’Barbo sits as the twelfth installment in the Daughters of the Mayflower series, but can be read as a stand-alone. I almost didn’t read this novel as I wasn’t familiar with the author. But to my surprise, I loved The Chisholm Trail Bride! The story held my attention from the beginning. It swirled mystery, suspense, and romance into a lovely combination. This mixture had me wondering how things would work out and kept me turning the pages. Although the ending came on really quick and felt almost too tidy, I loved that the author redeemed the events of the first trail ride with a beautiful ending.

I recommend The Chisholm Trail Bride by Kathleen Y’Barbo to readers of inspirational historical romance. I found this to be an entertaining and light read, perfect for a little escapism.
